Shipping Policy

Welcome to Loggerhead Acres Turtle Farm. Please review our shipping policy carefully before placing an order.


Shipping Locations

At this time, we ship to most U.S. states except the following restricted locations:

Florida, California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Hawaii

Orders placed from restricted states may be canceled and refunded prior to shipment.


Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
Processing time does not include shipping transit time.


Live Animal Shipping (Live Turtles)

To ensure the health and safety of our turtles, we follow a strict shipping schedule:

  • FedEx 2-Day Shipping: Ships on Mondays and Tuesdays only
  • Overnight Shipping: Ships on Wednesdays only

Orders must be placed before the applicable weekly shipping cutoff to be shipped that week.

👉 If an order is placed after the final weekly shipping window (Wednesday), it will be held and shipped the following Monday.

This schedule is in place to prevent delays and ensure that live animals are not in transit over weekends.

Additional notes:

  • All live turtles are shipped using approved live-animal shipping services (FedEx)
  • Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped
  • Shipping may be delayed due to weather conditions or carrier advisories to protect the well-being of the animals

👉 We reserve the right to delay shipment if weather conditions or carrier timelines are not safe for live animal transit.


Delivery Responsibility & Carrier Delays

Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Customers are strongly encouraged to:

  • Track their shipment closely
  • Be available to receive live animal deliveries on the scheduled delivery date

We are not responsible for issues resulting from:

  • Carrier delays
  • Weather-related disruptions
  • Missed deliveries
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided at checkout

Address Accuracy

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping details are accurate at the time of purchase.

Orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses may not be eligible for refunds or replacements.
