I've been a fan of the Alligator Snapping Turtle for over 50 years. When I discovered they were being harvested for the turtle meat trade, I began to form a plan to rescue some of these turtles and relocate them to the Ozarks of southern Missouri where I now reside.

Over the years, Loggerhead Acres has grown into a conservation-driven turtle farm committed to the care and preservation of these incredible reptiles.
